Many senior citizens in our community have trouble meeting their food needs. Fixed incomes often fall behind what is needed for living and medical expenses, leaving little or nothing to buy groceries with. To meet this need, we have the Senior Commodities program. In conjunction with the Gallatin Valley Food Bank we offer our older neighbors bags containing basic staple items such as canned fruit and vegetables, cheese, cereal and juice once each month in addition to the monthly food box service.
