Many children in Livingston schools depend on free meal programs during the school week. But on weekends and school holidays they often find themselves without enough to eat. The Back Pack program helps fill this need by providing small take-home bags of nutritious, child-friendly food each Friday during the school year.
Summer Lunch Program
During the summer, kids who have depended on school lunch programs are without that source of meals. Our summer lunch program offers free lunch for kids in need Monday through Friday during the summer school vacation period. A cold lunch is served at the Livingston Civic Center. This program is presented in conjunction with LINKS for Learning and the City of Livingston.
