Profiles:Michael McCormick, Executive Director
After a career in publishing and marketing that took him from the U.S. to Europe and back, Michael McCormick, a graduate of George Washington University, and his wife Jeanne retired and moved to Livingston in 2007. When their new house was completed and all the local streams had been fished, Michael was ready for new challenges. He was delighted to find that the Food Pantry needed a new director, and he has been happily filling the post ever since.

Alicia Baker, Campus Corps Volunteer Summer Lunch Coordinator
Alicia is a 2010 graduate of MSU-Bozeman with a BS in Food and Nutrition/Dietetics. She has worked in food service, writes nutrition articles for the Association of Child Development (ACD), is a Field editor for Taste of Home's Healthy Cooking magazine and also works for Weight Watchers. Her newest adventure has led her to become the Summer Lunch Coordinator for the Food Pantry. With her background in food and nutrition, Alicia feels confident that she can create a kid-friendly, nutritious and varied menu for the children. Her interests include hiking, camping, reading, and, of course, cooking and baking.

Miriam Squillace, Chairman of the Board
Miriam Squillace and her husband moved to Livingston in 1992 from Sioux Falls South Dakota. Miriam, a registered nurse, worked at the Park Clinic at that time. She has four children who now have produced 9 grandchildren for Miriam to play with. Miriam was on the first board of directors of the Livingston Food Pantry in 2004. She helped move the pantry from the Loaves and Fishes building to its current location on North M Street in 2005 and was here when we incorporated and filed for 501(c)(3) status. She has been on the board for six years and currently serves as Chairman.

Bill Edwards, Vice-Chairman of the Board
Bill Edwards and his wife Nancy Beal Edwards have lived in Park County for twelve years. Most of that time they lived near Gardiner, where they helped set up the Gardiner Food Pantry. Bill, who has a Ph.D. in Plant Ecology as well as degrees in Biology and Zoology, retired from teaching science classes at Laramie County Community College in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He served ten years in the Wyoming State Legislature during his time in Cheyenne. Bill joined the Livingston Food Pantry board of directors in 2009. Bill and Nancy have two sons and two granddaughters. Besides consulting and volunteer work, Bill fills his retirement life with writing, hiking, and fishing. He and Nancy are active members of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Bill's volunteer work with the Food Pantry and the Yellowstone Gateway Museum are in gratitude for what the community and the society have done for him and his family. In retirement, he is committed to leading a life of service to others.

Linda Kenoyer, Secretary of the Board
Linda Kenoyer moved to Livingston in
the Summer of 2008 and started volunteering at the Food Pantry in
January of 2009. She was immediately impressed by how well run this organization is and felt honored to join the board in March of 2009. Linda is retired after a series of careers and jobs all across the Western United States. She has been a research physicist, a semiconductor engineer, a professional urban firefighter, a cab driver, a karate teacher and other things too numerous to mention. She now lives in a cabin in the mountains with her partner, Tom Clemo.

Amber Warhank, Treasurer of the Board
Amber Warhank is the Assistant Vice President of First Interstate Bank in Livingston. She puts her financial and banking expertise to work for the pantry by serving as our Treasurer. Amber has been volunteering with us since 2008. She and her First Interstate colleagues are a committed team that helps keep the Backpack Program going. She joined the board in March of 2009. Raised in Belgrade, Amber and her husband moved back to Montana from Denver fourteen years ago. They have a 5-year-old daughter. Amber centers her busy life around her family. She also makes it a point to look up and around every day to appreciate the beautiful place where she lives.

Jessica Williams, Board Member
Jessica Williams, a Registered
Dietition, has served as the Food and Nutrition Services Manager at
Livingston HealthCare (LHC) since 2007. She has Bachelor degrees in Dietetics and in Restaurant and Resort
Management as well as a Master’s in
Nutrition. At LHC, it has been
Jessica’s mission to incorporate as many local and sustainable food
products as possible into the hospital’s menu. She has also started a sustainability committee at LHC and
implemented several “green” projects including a “bucket garden” on the
LHC campus and a recycling program. Jessica has been a member of the
Livingston Food Pantry board of directors since March 2009. She is also a
member of the Montana Food System Council, a member of the GRASP
community food assessment project in Park County, a big sister with Big
Brother and Big Sisters of Park County and an adjunct professor at MSU
Bozeman in Health and Human Development Department.

Hermena Visser, Board Member
Originally from Amsterdam, Montana, Hermena Visser has lived in Livingston for forty-two years. A well-known member of the community, Hermena spends her spare time looking after others who need help. She considers Livingston a great community. One of the ways she has contributed to it is by volunteering at the Food Pantry for the last five years. Hermena has served on the Food Pantry Board of Directors since 2009.

Zanya Betley, Board Member
Zanya Betley moved from North Dakota to Livingston in 1992. She loves the community and people here. Zanya has two amazing children Jimmy and Aurora. Working at the Livingston Job Service for over 6 years, Zanya brings an extensive knowledge of community resources and local labor conditions to The Livingston Food Pantry. Zanya is currently working towards a degree in Public Administration. She enjoys community involvement and is proud of her association with Links for Learning, Peer Solutions Drop In Center, Winan’s PTO, Rotary Club, GRASP, and Park County DUI Task Force.

Merri Ketterer, Board Member
Merri Ketterer is a Banker at Sterling Savings Bank in Livingston. She comes from an old Livingston family that has been in Livingston since the early 20th century when her great-grandparents moved here for the railroad. Merri's deep roots in the community and her Masters Degree in History have led her to serve on the Livingston Historic Preservation Commission since 2006. She loves the civic pride of this town, and thinks it is a nice place to raise a family. Merri has volunteered at the Food Pantry in the past through her employer's volunteer program and wanted to get more involved. She joined the Board in May 2010. With three years experience on the board of Junior Achievement of Montana, where she still serves as a volunteer JA teacher, Merri brings valuable strategic planning skills to our board.

Tom Poulos, Board Member
| Tom and Cindy Poulos moved to Livingston in 2005 after retiring from a 30 year career in the United States Air Force. Tom spent most of his career flying fighter aircraft and traveling around the world. They spent over eight years in Europe and more than six years in Asia. Tom and Cindy are both Florida State University graduates and football fanatics. They moved to Montana because their two daughters and their husbands and children relocated here (their son is in Florida). Tom is an avid golfer, novice fisherman and is learning to enjoy horses which is Cindy's passion. They completely enjoy the beauty of Montana.
