The Livingston Food Pantry is not a government agency. Our funding comes from grants, fundraising, and donations from our community.

Donations to the food pantry can be in the form of either food or money. In-kind donations of food storage equipment, office equipment, or other items that might help us serve our clients better will be considered if there is sufficient space and need.

The Livingston Food Pantry is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and donations are tax-deductible. Monetary donations will be acknowledged with a letter that will serve as your receipt. All money that is donated to the Livingston Food Pantry is used to fulfill our mission.

If you are part of a group that would like to help by having a food drive or a fundraiser, please let us know. Call Michael McCormick at 222-5335 to discuss the particulars.

Food donations:
Donations of non-perishable items can be made at local grocery stores (Albertsons or Town and Country Foods) or at the Food Pantry itself. There are bins near the main entry/exit door of each grocery store. Non-perishable food brought to the Food Pantry may be dropped off Tuesday or Thursday afternoons from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm.
Donations of fresh produce, eggs, dairy products, or other perishable items will only be accepted at the Food Pantry itself and only with prior arrangement. Please contact Michael McCormick at 222-5335 to make arrangements for perishable food donations.

Please consider adding a few extra non-perishable items to your grocery basket when you are shopping, then donating them in the bins for the Food Pantry on your way out of the store. Watch for signs on shelves in area grocery stores that point to current "wish list" items.

Cash can be donated in person at the Food Pantry during our business hours. There are also specially-marked collection jars at local businesses where you can make cash donations. Please do not mail cash.
